Boise State to Celebrate Iconic Moments in Program History with this Season’s Game Themes
BOISE, Idaho – Two of the most defining moments in Boise State football history return to center stage this fall as Boise State Athletics announced its lineup of themed games for the 2026 football season, highlighted by celebrations honoring the 40th Anniversary of The Blue and the 20th Anniversary of the historic 2007 Fiesta Bowl victory.
Fans will have the opportunity to be part of these milestone celebrations all season long, beginning with the home opener against Memphis on Sept. 12, when Bronco Nation commemorates four decades of college football’s most iconic playing surface, The Blue.
On Oct. 3, Boise State welcomes Utah State for Homecoming and Parent & Family Weekend while honoring the legendary 2007 Fiesta Bowl team on the 20th anniversary of one of the greatest upsets in college football history.
