The College of Idaho’s rapid enrollment has pushed officials to launch new programs and new campus buildings.
That includes, a $17 million housing improvement project that will help add additional housing needed at the school.
Officials say the three-phase plan to improve the existing residence halls and add new ones is expected to be completed by 2018.
Phase 1 will provide renovations at Voorhees Hall, which was built in 1912, Phase 2 will provide renovations at Finney Hall, which was built in 1910, and Phase 3 will construct a new residential hall with 90 student beds.
