Broncos fall at Tulsa 69-56

The recently-hot-shooting Boise State men’s basketball team cooled off Wednesday in a 69-56 loss at Tulsa. The Broncos shot 6-for-29 from three-point range (20.7 percent).

Boise State had made 40 three-pointers in its previous four games, shooting at a 39.6 percent clip from beyond the arc.

RJ Williams led the Broncos Wednesday, with 19 points and 10 rebounds. It is the third double-double of the year for Williams, who has scored in double figures six times.

Boise State returns home Saturday, against Alabama State. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at ExtraMile Arena. Tickets are available at BroncoSports.com/tickets. Saturday is also Toys For Tots, fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate will receive a discounted ticket for $7.
