The Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission advises City leaders on planning policies, including land use, zoning, transportation, and housing policies and goals. Members of this group serve on a voluntary basis and receive no financial compensation. More information is available on the Planning and Zoning Commission’s webpage.
In addition to the application, a letter of interest and resume should be submitted with the completed application. Applications can be submitted online or delivered to Mayor Simison at Meridian City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, ID., 83642. All applications should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026. The successful applicant, who must reside within Meridian’s city limits or its area of impact, will be appointed by Mayor Simison and confirmed by the Meridian City Council.
