It is a tremendous privilege and honor to be appointed Nampa’s Mayor. I am humbled to be serving in this role and strive to walk the path of Mayor Rick Hogaboam.
As I have shared many times in various interviews this week, I will do my best to honor the vision and direction Mayor Hogaboam expressed. I ask you to please continue praying for the Hogaboam family (Mimi, Cody, Kira, Lexi, Ezra, Zoey and granddaughter Iris). Ways to support them can be found here.
Some of the many priorities Mayor Hogaboam expressed included managing growth while protecting our quality of life, ensuring public safety, addressing infrastructure needs and traffic improvements, and using data to drive decision-making through an open and transparent process.
We serve the citizens of Nampa and will continue to make the best decisions possible with the funding, time and resources available. In just a few short days, I have been truly impressed by the leadership within the City of Nampa team and am excited to work alongside them in the days and months ahead.
I look forward to listening, learning and working with our amazing team to continue serving the citizens of Nampa and building a stronger and united community.
Please consider dropping by “Coffee with the Mayor” on Thurs., June 25 from 7:30-9am at One11 Press, located at 101 11th Ave S #101 in downtown Nampa. Please note that while this is not a hosted event, coffee/tea and treats are available for purchase.

Check out the new banners in
Downtown Nampa celebrating America 250
The City of Nampa is excited to announce that new America 250 banners have been installed throughout the downtown! There are four designs that include recognition of our military, lady liberty, the Snake River Stampede and the City of Nampa’s America 250 logo.
Under the direction of the late Mayor Hogaboam, the City of Nampa applied for a state grant to fund the banners. We’re very thankful the grant was approved and are grateful to see the banners on display for the community to enjoy for months to come.
A huge shoutout to the City of Nampa’s Communication Specialist Vanessa Jimenez for designing the banners and logo, and to the Nampa Parks Department for their work to put the banners up in downtown!

It’s rodeo week and we shared a quick video from Tuesday night at the Snake River Stampede. It was also “Hometown Hero” night and “Mayor’s Night at the Rodeo,” where they welcomed Mayor Bruner.
