President Donald Trump announced Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division has evidence of Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., committing mortgage fraud, a claim that was also levied against New York Democrat Attorney General Letitia James.
“I have always suspected Shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist,” Trump wrote in a scathing Truth Social post Tuesday morning. “And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud.
“Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in Maryland to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must live in California because he was a congressman from California.”
Trump has a long-running feud with Schiff, calling him a “pencil neck,” the past but now he added “scam artist,” “crook,” and possible perpetrator of “mortgage fraud.”
Trump has long sought oversight and accountability for Democrats who sought to investigate and prosecute him. Biden called it being “vindictive” in an interview with The New York Times last week.
Trump called it oversight and accountability, the words Democrats used to politically pursue him for nearly a decade.
“I always knew Adam Schiff was a crook,” Trump’s post concluded. “The fraud began with the refinance of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on Oct. 13, 2020.
“Mortgage Fraud is very serious, and crooked Adam Schiff (now a senator) needs to be brought to justice.”
