Idaho’s Senators vote NO to contraception access

On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate blocked a bill that would safeguard women’s access to contraceptives.

In a 51-39 vote Senate Bill 4381 also known as ” The Right to Contraception Act” was voted down.

CBS2 reports the act would have made sure that people nationwide would have the right to buy birth control and condoms, and would have protected doctors who prescribe contraceptives.

Both Senator Mike Crapo and Senator Jim Risch voted no on the bill.
