Treasure Valley looks for more HOT weather thru the weekend

courtesy CBS 2 News

Highs will warm into the mid-90s today. Those mid-90-degree highs should stick around through Saturday. Smoke from wildfires in Canada and western Washington is still hanging around our region. Today’s air quality will still fall into the moderate category, however, the index score is down from 77 yesterday to 57 today.

Sunshine will still dominate the forecast over the next week as high pressure lingers over the west coast. Boise’s first 100-degree high of the year is set to arrive on Sunday. Highs will likely stay in the 100s on Monday before dropping back into the mid-90s later next week.
