Idaho House Ethics Committee finalizes investigation and report on Rep. Priscilla Giddings

The Idaho House Ethics Committee has finalized its investigation and report on Rep. Priscilla Giddings.

The ethics committee voted earlier this month that Giddings — who is also a candidate for lieutenant governor — should be stripped of a committee assignment for publicizing the name of a statehouse intern who reported she was raped by another lawmaker.

On Wednesday, it published its report and official recommendation, saying the Committee unanimously found Representative Giddings engaged in conduct unbecoming a Representative.

The committee unanimously recommended the House of Representative censure Giddings and she be removed from her seat on the House Commerce and Human Resources Committee.
