Labrador officially appointed to Central District Board of Health

Former Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador has officially been appointed to the Central District Board of Health.

Labrador received nine ballots for approval compared to three that disapproved. He will now serve on the board through 2025 and will join Dr. Ted Epperly and Dr. Jane Young representing Ada County.

Diana Lachiondo resigned her position on the board earlier this month. Labrador’s first meeting will be Feb. 19.

CBS 2 News reports, earlier this month, the Ada County Prosecutor’s office said the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office would look into allegations of possible open meeting violations in the appointment of Labrador.
