More spectators at school sporting events

More spectators will be returning to local school sports.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little on Wednesday said he is asking the State Board of Education to change its high school athletic plan to allow more fans at sporting events.

The Governor said all of the decisions related to the Idaho Rebounds plan have been rooted in detailed metrics related to virus activity and impacts on our health care system and Idaho has seen a continued decrease in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.

CBS2 reported the State Board of Education will release additional details about the upcoming changes. Social distancing, masks, and hand sanitization will continue to be strongly encouraged.
