Central District Health held emergency COVID-19 response meeting

The Central District Health held an emergency COVID-19 response meeting Friday to reinstate a health order moving Ada County back to Stage 3 of Idaho’s Rebound plan.

The first health order was illegally set, according to the CDH attorney. A citizen pointed out that the agenda for the meeting was not publically placed anywhere.

CBS2 reports that under Idaho law, that means the order that took effect on Wednesday was void.

The CDH board held the emergency meeting to declare the old order void, and subsequently legally set a new health order. The order has not changed.
