Garth Brooks drive-in concert is playing in Idaho

Garth Brooks will perform a concert shown at more than 300 drive-ins across North America on June 27 — including multiple theaters in Idaho.

The Idaho Statesman reports Boise fans will want to attend at either Parma Motor-Vu or Terrace Drive-In in Caldwell. Other Idaho sites will be Motor Vu Drive-In in Idaho Falls, the Spud Drive-In between Victor and Driggs, Hayden Discount Cinema Drive-In and Teton Vu Drive-In in Rexburg.

Tickets will cost $100 per carload or truckload. Yes, that’s more expensive than going to a movie. But it’s still much cheaper than attending a Brooks concert in person. When the country star performed at Albertsons Stadium in 2019, individual seats were $94.95.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks. That is the only way to buy them. Tickets will not be sold by theaters.

Organizers say this will be the largest one-night show ever to play at outdoor theaters across the United States and Canada.

“I am so excited to get to play again. I have missed it so much and want to get back to it,” Brooks said in a press release. “This drive-in concert allows us all to get back to playing live music without the uncertainty of what would be the result to us as a community. This is old school, new school, and perfect for the time we are in.”
