Boise (670 KBOI News) – Three Boise refugees charged with gang raping a Kuna woman will be back in court February 27th, after being arraigned Friday in Ada County Court.

According to the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, the three men — Swedi Iyombelo, Mulanga Rashidi and Elias Lupango — spoke through a Swahili translator, though they couldn’t confirm that the men are from Tanzania, as the Idaho Statesman is reporting.

Bond for the three was set at $250,000, and the judge issued a no-contact order with their accuser.

The Statesman is reporting that on February 7th, a woman was having sex with Iyombelo in a car parked in a Kuna neighborhood, when the two other men and a 16-year old boy arrived, and forced her to have sex with them.

She told police she was afraid if she resisted, she would be killed.

The four suspects were arrested Thursday.
