A woman is dead after a concrete truck struck her Tuesday at the corner of Eagle Road and Ustick Road.
The crash happened at 5:25 in the afternoon.
CBS 2 news reports, the woman died at a local hospital.
Police say the truck was turning east onto Ustick Road from Eagle Road when the woman was walking south in in the crosswalk. They say she was struck by the right front tire of the truck.
No citations have been issued and the crash is still under investigation by the Meridian Police Department and the Ada County Sheriff’s Department. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
