ISU, FBI investigating “anti-Muslim propaganda” on campus

The Public Safety Office at Idaho State University is investigating what is being called “anti-Muslim propaganda” that was left around on campus over the last few days. Vice President of Communications Stuart Summers says they’re not sure if it was an individual or a group that left the materials.

“(Someone) had left the materials on some cars and tables here at the University,” Summers said.  “It was brought to our attention, and immediately our Public Safety responded, and tried to collect as many of the materials as possible.”

Summers says he’s not seen it, so he can’t say what the materials are. But he did say the Public Safety Office on campus contacted the FBI, which has taken over the investigation, to figure out if any laws were broken.

When 670 KBOI contacted them, neither the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office nor the Pocatello Police Department were aware of anything.
