St. Luke’s Children’s to celebrate opening of a new inpatient rehabilitation unit for kids TOMORROW (Tuesday, Sept. 17) at noon at St. Luke’s Children’s Pavilion located at 305 E. Jefferson St. in Boise.
The new pediatric rehabilitation unit at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital will allow young patients who have experienced injury, illness, or surgery and need inpatient rehabilitative care such as physical, occupational and speech therapies, to receive care in Idaho.
In recent years, a pediatric patient needing inpatient rehab care would need to travel out of state with their family or guardian.
The new unit is co-located at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
Patients will stay and receive care anywhere from two weeks to eight weeks.
