Pedro Dominguez Guajardo arrested in Mountain Home

On September 10, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant for the arrest of 76-year-old Pedro Dominguez Guajardo in Mountain Home.

CBS2 reports Guajardo had a felony warrant with a one million dollar bond out of Elmore County.

Through the investigation that led Elmore County Detectives to the search warrant, it was revealed that Guajardo posed a very high risk to the public and law enforcement.

As a result, the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office requested mutual assistance from the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office’s SWAT team.

Guajardo was taken into custody with no incident and booked into the Elmore County Jail.

Guajardo’s next court appearance is scheduled for December 3, 2024, before Judge Peterson at the Elmore County Courthouse.

The investigation remains ongoing.
