Boise School District free breakfast this year

The Boise School Board has approved a new initiative to provide free breakfast for all students, starting in the 2024-2025 school year.

This initiative is part of the District’s budget and aims to enhance student well-being and academic performance.

Dave Wagers, the Board President, emphasized that offering a nutritious breakfast to all students promotes health and creates a more inclusive learning environment.

President Wagers said breakfast is often referred to as the most important meal of the day, and this holds especially true for students before they begin their academic day.

And he said, by providing free breakfast to all of our students, we are not only promoting health and well-being but also creating a more inclusive and supportive learning culture.
