The downpour in Boise last night caused all kinds of problems for people on the roads.
One to three inches of rain caused flooding and prompted the closure of the outbound connector for nearly three hours.
Hail accompanied the strong storms that were for a time stationary over the Boise area north into the foothills.
More afternoon showers & storms are possible today (WED) with more gusty wind and downpours in some areas.
Showers and storms are possible for Thursday and Friday as well.
