Ammon Bundy pleas out in St. Luke’s trial

Ammon Bundy took a plea deal in court on Monday, January 23rd.

Bundy accepted a plea deal for 1st Offense Trespass in the St. Luke’s case. Ammon Bundy led a crowd of protestors outside of St. Luke’s to protest the “medical kidnapping of a child.” The original story can be read here.

The plea agreement sentences Bundy to 90 days in jail, however, 78 days are suspended, so with time already served there likely won’t be any jail time involved. Bundy will also be on probation and have to pay a fine of $1,157.50.

Trial was scheduled to begin today, and court records show that this would have been tried as Bundy’s 3rd + offense before the plea deal was reached.
