No ruling yet on Pizzuto case from Idaho Supreme Court

The Idaho Supreme Court has yet to make a ruling on the death row case of Gerald Pizzuto.

The Idaho Supreme Court held off making a ruling after they heard arguments Monday on whether the state’s constitution gives a governor the power to veto a state commission’s clemency decision for a death row inmate.

The hearing is related to the death penalty sentence of an Idaho convicted serial killer and rapist Gerald Pizzuto.

There is still no timeline on when the court will make a decision.
