Nampa Library holding free Fit and Fall Proof classes for seniors

Free Fit and Fall Proof™ classes for seniors are being offered at theNampa Public Library.

Classes will begin January 11th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10:15.

Developed in Idaho in 2004, Fit and Fall Proof™ is an exercise-based fall prevention program for older adults in Idaho that focuses on improving strength, mobility, and balance to reduce an older adults’ risk of falling.

Participants are guided through exercises with the goal of working to improve their strength, balance, endurance, and mobility gradually by using chairs, walls, body weight, weighted balls and resistance bands.
