Two Ada County Commissioners criticized over Facebook post

Two Ada County Commissioners released a statement on the passing of radio host Rush Limbaugh on the county’s main Facebook account.

The feedback has been highly critical.

CBS2 reports the post received almost 700 mostly negative comments as of late Wednesday — many on the commissioner’s choice of platform.

The post featured a prepared statement from commissioners Rod Beck and Ryan Davidson, who were elected in November and sworn into office in January.

The statement said “Limbaugh’s conservative outlook and opinions gave voice to countless folks who felt mainstream media did not share their values.”

One comment said what a wildly inappropriate use of county resources.

Another person said Thank you, Board of Ada County Commissioners, for giving him the respect he deserves!
