Motion to Dismiss hearing postponed in Chad Daybell case

A hearing to discuss a Motion to Dismiss in Chad Daybell’s will now be held in November, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Daybell and his attorney requested to reset the date for the hearing, saying, “the parties just recently received the preliminary hearing transcript and additional time is needed to review said transcript and prepare their respective briefs.”

CBS2 reports a judge signed off on the order to reschedule the hearing for November 24th at 9am. The hearing was originally scheduled for October 29th.

Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty to felony charges of destruction of evidence and concealment of evidence related to the death of Lori Vallow Daybell’s two children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan. Their remains were found on his property earlier this year.
