A man who police say assaulted an elderly couple along the Eagle Greenbelt has been identified.
Earlier Tuesday, authorities say the man assaulted the couple after they had asked him to put a leash on his dog.
An argument broke out and police say he threw the 83-year-old man down an embankment and shoved a 72-year-old woman to the ground.
CBS 2 News reports, the assault occurred behind Merrill Park. No charges have been filed at this point.
