Financial assistance available for individuals and families in need

Financial assistance is available in the City of Boise for individuals and families in need.

If you have recently experienced financial hardship due to reduced hours, job loss, or other challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, assistance is available through community partners.

NeighborWorks Boise is providing up to six months of mortgage assistance for eligible homeowners. For more information, visit: NWboise.org/covid-19-mortgage-assistance

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association is providing rent and utility assistance to help prevent eviction and utility shut-off. Eligibility is based on current household income and specific need (i.e., rent payment, utility payment). Learn more: IdahoHousing.com/hpp-faq

Scholarships are available through the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County for before- and after-school programs, and for Kinder Club, a supplemental program for kindergartners during the half day they are not in school. Apply through their application portal: AdaClubs.org/scholarships
