Beginning Friday, August 14 at 10 p.m., I-84 will be closed in both directions between Karcher/Midland in Nampa and Franklin Rd. in Caldwell while crews demolish the Middleton Road Overpass.
The closure will remain in effect until 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 15. Middleton Road Overpass will remain closed until the project is completed in May 2021.
What to expect:
I-84 impacts:
Motorists will be directed to exit I-84 at Karcher/Midland Blvd, exit 33 in Nampa or Franklin Road, exit 29 in Caldwell.
Traffic will be detoured to Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard.
Middleton Road Overpass:
The overpass will remain closed until May 2021.
Motorists will be detoured down Ustick Road and Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard.
The intersection of Cherry Lane and Middleton Road will be closed for approximately 3-4 months of the project.
