Health Freedom Idaho event draws 177 people at Julia Davis Park

Dozens of people gathered at Julia Davis Park Thursday to speak out against the government’s actions during the coronavirus pandemic.

Health Freedom Idaho, an alliance of people dedicated to personal freedoms, drew around 177 people to support State Representative Heather Scott’s message about government intervention.

CBS 2 News reports, Health Freedom Idaho believes you are being robbed of your right to determine your own actions during this pandemic.

Health organizations said they are recommending actions to slow the virus spread. Some believe it is an excuse to take away personal freedoms.

During the peaceful rally, Representative Scott told the crowd she’s proud of their efforts to stand up to big government.
