Idaho set another record today for new COVID-19 cases in a single day with 283, which is 40 more than Wednesday’s single day high of 243.
The new Gem State totals are 5,148 cases and 90 deaths.
Half of the new cases reported today were in the 18-29 age group category which now has 1,660 total cases.
This week Ada County is Idaho’s hot spot, reporting 561 new cases, so far.
Ada County has over a third of Idaho’s total COVID cases.
