Ada County reported highest number of new COVID cases

Idaho reported 135 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday (6/20), for a total of 4,006 cases.

There have been 89 deaths in Idaho (59 of those deaths have been people over 80).

The 18-29 age group category now has 1,082 cases, which is more than any other age group, followed by the 30-39 age group with 668 cases.

Ada County reported the highest number of new cases last week (ending 6/20) gaining 275, for a total of 1,166 cases, which is by far the most in Idaho.

Females in Idaho have the majority of the total COVID-19 cases with 2,159 of Idaho’s total cases.

So far, 3,305 of the total cases have recovered, which is counted as people who have not died 30 days after onset symptoms.

Healthcare workers account for 406 of the total cases.

Cases of hospitalization are at 283, with 101 of those cases being admitted to ICU.

72,547 statewide COVID-19 laboratory tests have been completed.
