Road construction project set to begin this month in Emmett

Warmer weather means it’s time to see road construction taking place across Idaho.

Reconstruction of Idaho Highway 52 through downtown Emmett will begin in mid-April.

The current pavement has reached the end of its service life. Construction will start near the intersection of ID-52 and ID-16. It is scheduled to be complete in early summer.

During construction, you can expect work will to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. up to seven days a week.

You should also anticipate a temporary gravel road surface during construction and Flaggers to be used on occasion to guide motorists through the work zone.
