Idaho prepares for coronavirus

The coronavirus, is coming to Idaho. And according to state agencies, it’s not a matter of – IF but WHEN.

Here are a few things you should know before you get too upset…

First, the virus hasn’t hit Idaho yet and there are very few cases nationwide. But as KIVI TV reports, Central District Health is getting ready by increasing communication statewide.

Central District Health explains, that includes state and local health departments, information offices and county emergency management offices.

The Department of Health and Welfare has devoted much of it’s front web page to the coronavirus with information updated at least every Friday.

Best practices include washing hands frequently, avoiding touching your face and staying home if you’re sick.
