Accused Double Murderer Arraigned in Cassia County Court

Cassia County (670 KBOI News) – The Los Angeles man who’s accused of killing two people in Utah, then running from police only to be caught last month in Cassia County, says he’s not guilty of the charges.

The Idaho Statesman is reporting Johnathan Llana was arraigned in Cassia County court on charges he killed two people on May 22nd, on I-84 between Tremonton and Snowville, Utah.

Llana led police on a high speed chase before he crashed into the Raft River…he then ran for two days, with police and Fish and Game officers on his heels.

He was caught at a ranch when he stopped and asked for directions. Earlier he had broken into a home and stole an ATV.

His trial is set to begin September 4th.
