Boise Area Small Business Owners Invited to Holiday Grow Your Business Day Event at Boise Main Post Office on Nov. 22

In conjunction with Small Business Saturday (Nov. 30), the Boise Postmaster is extending an invitation to all small business owners in the area to a Holiday Grow Your Business Day event at the Boise Main Post Office at 770 S. 13th St. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. Postal representatives will share helpful tips for the busy holiday season and demonstrate smart shipping and mailing solutions designed to help grow and innovate small business in a one-on-one setting.

“This is a great opportunity for the small business community to learn how the USPS can help their business, especially during the holiday season,” said Boise Postmaster Dan Corral. “Our Business Solutions Specialist will be present to answer any questions and share how the Postal Service can help them save time, money and grow their business.”

The Postal Service offers numerous solutions to assist with marketing efforts such as Every Door Direct Mail and new and exciting mailing innovations for advertising. In addition to continuing to provide shipping solutions such as Priority Mail that help small businesses ship economically and confidently.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

“The Postal Service has long been a champion of small businesses, and we’re excited to host this event to share information on our exciting new products and services,” said Corral. “Whether you’re a large or small business, shipping solutions at USPS are crafted to help your business grow.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
