Case of Hepatitis A Found in Red Robin Employee on Parkcenter Boulevard

Idaho’s Central District Health Department has confirmed a case of hepatitis A in a worker employed at Red Robin on Parkcenter Boulevard.

The risk of patrons becoming infected is low, but anyone who ate at the restaurant in recent weeks is encouraged to get the hepatitis A vaccine if they’re not up to date.

Central District Health is offering the vaccine for free to anyone who may have been exposed between July 24 and Aug 7.

The Idaho Press reports, no related infections have been reported.

Idaho earlier this year started to see a hepatitis A outbreak, and neighboring counties including Canyon, Blaine and Twin Falls have also seen a recent increase in hepatitis A cases.
