This week members of fire departments throughout the Treasure Valley kick off the annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign.
Governor Brad Little this week signed a special proclamation declaring May 16 – 18 & May 30 – June 1 as “MDA Fill the Boot Days.”
Hundreds of fire fighters from around the Treasure Valley will fan out across the area with boots in hand for this year’s drive.
Funds raised through Treasure Valley Fill the Boot events help kids and adults with Muscular dystrophy and related muscle-debilitating diseases.
Contributions also help fund research, support groups and Care Centers.
