Portions of greenbelt experience minor flooding

A portion of the Boise River Greenbelt is experiencing localized flooding in Eagle after flows were recently increased on the Boise River.

Flows will be increasing to 5,450 cubic feet per second through Friday.

Flood stage for the Boise River is 7,000 cfs.

At this point, there is no predicting when this portion of the greenbelt will reopen.

The Idaho Press reports, the flooded portion of the greenbelt in Eagle closed April 12. Travelers should use the Riverside Drive Crosswalk as a detour while the greenbelt remains closed.
