Lester Kester Jr. sentenced to up to life in prison

Lester Kester Jr., who was convicted of sexually abusing his daughters and another female relative, will be in prison at least until he’s 80 years old.

Kester was sentenced to up to life in prison Wednesday on five lewd conduct charges. Thirty-one of those years will be served before he’s eligible for parole.

The Idaho Press reports, Kester took a plea deal in November to all five lewd conduct charges in agreement that prosecutors would not pursue other charges, including possession of sexually exploitative material of a child.

Four victims, Kester’s daughters, read victim impact statements in court of the sexual and mental abuse they endured for years.
