The construction of “Project Bronco,” an anticipated Amazon distribution warehouse in Nampa, is getting delayed, and Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling said she hopes it will be 12-18 months before work resumes.

The city and Project Bronco developers announced weeks ago that the timeline had changed but didn’t give any details on what that timeline was.

Some work has already started on the property at Franklin and Star roads.

The Idaho Press reports, Kling said she hopes the delay is not more than 18 months and the developer has not said why the delays are necessary or if any work would be done during the next year.

Project Bronco is rumored to be an Amazon distribution center. “Amazon” was listed on project documents, and the developer behind Project Bronco has built Amazon distribution centers around the world.
