A Burley man has been arrested in connection with the 1995 murder of a 14-year-old girl.
Police have charged Gilberto Rodriguez with first-degree murder in connection to the stabbing death of Regina Krieger, who disappeared from the basement of her Burley home on Feb. 28, 1995.
The girls body was discovered on the bank of the Snake River, downstream of Minidoka Dam the following April.
The Idaho Press reports, Rodriguez was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center on a no-bond warrant issued by the Cassia County Magistrate Court.
