Officers Nab Child Enticement Suspect

Fabricio Martinez

Boise (670 KBOI News) – Boise Police say they’ve arrested a man suspected of trying to entice a young girl over the internet.

Officers responded to a call Monday about a man who had contacted a young girl on social media…he was later identified as Fabricio Martinez, who tried several times to line up a meeting with her.

Detectives, posing as the girl, arranged a meeting, using the sane social media app.

They cornered him at a location on West Overland, on the Boise Bench. He refused to surrender, but officers were eventually able to get Martinez out of his car..that’s when police found some methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of felony enticement, felony drug possession, and misdemeanor resisting and paraphernalia possession.
