Meridian Police released sketch of potential enticement suspect

 

Meridian Police released a sketch of a potential enticement that occurred in Meridian earlier this week.

Police say a man asked a 9-year-old girl if she wanted candy and grabbed her wrist.

Police say the incident happened in the area of NW 11th and W Woodbury in Meridian around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the 9-year-old refused the candy from an unknown man and when she did, the man attempted to grab her wrist. She was able to pull away and run to safety.

The suspect is described as a black male with red and orange dragon tattoo on his upper left arm, nose piercing with “odd front teeth” described as the two front teeth as being shorter than the other teeth, wearing a mask over his eyes.

The suspect is possibly driving a black truck with a silhouette sticker of a cat in the rear window.
