Lester Kester Jr. willing to plead guilty

The pre-trial hearing for the Caldwell man facing five lewd conduct charges has been postponed at the request of his attorney.

Lester Kester Jr. was granted an additional day to discuss details of his plea with his attorney on Wednesday afternoon. He is accused of molesting his four daughters and another female relative.

The Idaho Press reports, Kester’s attorney asked for additional time — stating that Kester is willing to plead guilty but has issue with some additional details.

Kester’s wife, Sarah Kester, took an Alford plea on Oct. 24., allowing her to maintain her innocence but acknowledging prosecutors have enough evidence a jury would likely find her guilty of the charge of failure to report the abuse.
