Lime plans to pause scooter operations until mid-March

Lime, a ride sharing company that put all the scooters out in Meridian, plans to pause operations until mid-March.

The pause will allow the company to meet the conditions of the joint agreement, some of which were not followed when Lime first launched late last month.

The Idaho Press reports, during the pause, Lime plans to work in collaboration with the city to educate residents about properly using Lime scooters. Details of the launch, such as the number of scooters to be deployed, will be announced closer to the March.

The city of Meridian has asked BIRD, another ride sharing companies with electric scooters, to delay their launch date until mid-March as well.
