Boise man arrested after receiving Oxycodone in the mail

A Boise man was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail after police say he received a delivery of Oxycodone in the mail.

Jacob Lassoff is charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The Idaho Press reports, Detectives believe Lassoff received the Oxycodone from outside the United States, according to the release. They began investigating him last month, and that investigation culminated in his arrest after deputies — and the U.S. Postal Service — intercepted a package containing 41 Oxycodone tablets, addressed to Lassoff.

Police also found blank prescription forms in Lassoff’s car, which they believe had been stolen from a local medical provider.
