A Red Flag Warning has been issued for the Boise, Payette, and Western portions of the Sawtooth Forests from noon to 8:00 PM today.
This is due to some scattered to numerous thunderstorms that could effect the area.
This system is also expected to bring strong and gusty winds across the southern portions of the Idaho BLM lands from Boise through Twin Falls.
CBS 2 news reports, wind gusts of up to 35 mpg are possible by the afternoon.
Humidity is also expected to lower between 10 to 15 percent during this time.
Keep in mind, a Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
