Kinner allowed two additional weeks before he enters his plea

An attorney for the man accused of stabbing nine people at a 3-year-old’s birthday party at a Boise apartment complex has requested two additional weeks before he enters his plea in relation to those alleged crimes.

A Judge granted Timmy Kinner Jr.’s attorney’s request for the additional time at a court hearing this morning.

The Idaho Statesman reports, Kinner will now enter a plea of guilty or not guilty at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 28. Kinner’s bond will also be discussed Aug. 28.

An additional hearing will be held Thursday for the judge to hear other motions in the case.

TV cameras were prohibited at the hearing but photography was allowed.

At an earlier court hearing, Kinner called it “sabotage” when a judge denied his attorneys’ motion to ban all cameras from the courtroom.
