Growth, Affordable Housing and More to Be Discussed at Boise Townhall

Boise (670 KBOI News) – The second in a series of Boise townhall meetings on growth is set for Saturday the 25th.

City Spokesman Mike Journee says their first meeting with citizens was successful, and identified a number of concerns…not surprisingly, the biggest was the City’s explosive growth.

Journee says it’s a good problem to have.

“Housing affordability, transportation, cultural and environmental preservation, and governance,” said Journee  “So, we’re looking forward to this next round of conversations, there’s going to be two sessions, the first session is going to be Saturday August 25th, here at Boise City Hall, the second one will be on Tuesday, August 28th, at TImberline High School.”

The meeting will be led by Doctor Jen Schneider of Boise State University’s School of Public Service.
