Boise (670 KBOI News) – A Caldwell man has been sentenced to prison for a felony gun charge.
In November of last year police attempted to arrest Tristan Swim on a warrant in Canyon County. Swim fled, but was caught after a short pursuit.
During the arrest officer’s located a semi-automatic pistol on Swim…who had a prior felony conviction, and was prohibited from possessing firearms.
In U.S. District Court Wednesday, Swim was sentenced to 21 months in prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.
Following his prison term, Swim will also be under 3 years of supervised release.
